Who we are?
IDA is an international independent non-governmental organization providing medical and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflicts, natural disasters and epidemics regardless of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
IDA was founded in 2012 by Syrian doctors from Aleppo in response to the healthcare and humanitarian crisis in Syria.
IDA Syria is the main healthcare provider in Northern Aleppo/Syria area, working closely with 500,000 IDPs and 700,000 host community through 20 healthcare facility and other health and nutrition projects
During last year, IDA has provided 1.2 million services in Heath, Nutrition, WaSH and Camp Management
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the project field staff in all the areas of implementation and providing them with regular support.
Facilitating and conducting regular meetings with the field team to monitor the implementation and providing support to ensure adherence to the “protection” program minimum standards and SOPs.
Support in developing\adapting protection IEC materials, and M&E tools with the programs coordinator.
Building the capacity of the teams and introducing the reporting tools and approach.
Submitting regular narrative, 4Ws reports, media documentation, and any other reports requested by the donor or the CP SC to the program coordinator.
Ensure cases’ data are managed, shared, and used in a confidential, safe, and effective manner, and ensure effective and strong coordination with other protection and non-protection actors at Syria and Turkey level in order to maintain active referral pathways.
Regular supervision of program progress and ensure that activities are technically sound and implemented in a timely, safe, and efficient manner, in accordance with the project work plan.
Coordinating the protection emergency response through supporting the field emergency response focal point and assisting him/her to facilitate/attend coordination meetings with other actors, and submit the emergency response plan to the program coordinator.
Updating project activities work plan regularly and sharing it with the respective supporting departments and parties.
Submission and follow up the purchase requests, and following up with the other departments on the materials and actions needed.
Full and comprehensive documentation of all the project activities according to the instructions and policies
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of work experience in protection programming.
Experience in GBV and CP case management is preferred.
Experience in managing field teams in different locations through remote management.
Fluent in the English and Arabic languages
Good command of excel, word, and other MS office applications.
Ability to work with limited supervision.
Transparency, Problem-solving, and team working skills
Eligible to work legally in Turkey
