BINAA is looking for a Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant, based in Gaziantep/Turkey to assist the M&E team with the requirement of monitoring and evaluating BINAA projects.
General Responsibilities
Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) assistant will be responsible for:
· Supporting the M&E team in archiving all the related project documents on the server.
· Scheduling and coordinate meetings and appointments.
· Preparing minutes of the meeting, action points and share it with attendees then follow-up the action points with them.
· Preparing check-list of deliverables of each project, remind the responsible, and archive deliverable when completed
· Assembling the data coming from different sources, share it with the involved team and ensure it’s well archived.
· Creating and updating records ensuring accuracy and validity of information on the planning and reporting tool, in coordination with Turkey and filed team.
· Photocopying, scanning and filing appropriate documents
· Supporting the team in preparing the paper forms, formatting documents, drafting documents and generating reports.
· Supporting the function of accountability as needed.
· Knowledge, Experience and Skills
· Essential:
A minimum of one-year experience in a similar position.
Previous experience working with NGOs.
Previous experience in preparing, formatting and printing documents.
Advanced Arabic language skills
Good English language skills.
Good understanding and knowledge of humanitarian principles.
· Desirable
Experience in humanitarian work and principles.
· Required Technical Competencies
· Good level with archiving files on Microsoft Windows
· Good understanding and knowledge of the main M&E concepts. Previous experience following KAP (Knowledge, attitude and practices) methodology is an asset
· Good level at Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Power BI is an asset.
· Good organizational skills, serious, patient, organized and open-minded.
· Good communication skills to interact with the team and other departments.
· Ability to work as part of a team, interpersonal qualities and diplomacy.
· Flexible with respect to job priority and assigned tasks from the supervisor.
